IS HYBRIDX TURF ECO-FRIENDLY?
Of course! It helps promotes a natural grass environment! The patented knitting technology prevents the artificial piles from pulling out and going into the environment.
WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ARTIFICIAL TURF?
If one wanted to install artificial turf, they'd have to start with removing the existing natural grass surface, create a cement based foundation, hire a professional installation team and more... Unlike artificial turf, HybridX can be installed on top of any natural surface using just U-pins and a hammer, which will help leave a positive ecological footprint.
HOW DOES THIS HELP SUSTAIN THE NATURAL GRASS?
HybridX protects the root system and crowns of the grass, which are essential to growth and sustainability. It acts as another cushion, reducing strength of impact and compaction.
HOW DOES THE NATURAL GRASS GROW?
The product is created by a patented knitting technology meaning the artificial piles that you see are actually knitted within itself to create the honeycomb shaped base structure. This creates an open space backing which promotes natural grass to grow through the holes and intertwine with the artificial piles.
CAN I CUT THE GRASS?
Once the natural grass is fully integrated with HybridX, you will be able to treat the hybrid surface exactly like you would if it was 100% natural grass. You can mow and water it, as if it was all natural. Just make sure to blow off or sweep the debris of glass once mowing.
DO I NEED A FLAT CONCRETE BASE LIKE ARTIFICIAL TURF?
No. Unlike artificial turf, Hybridx will be installed either on top of soil with a new bed of seed or an already existing grass foundation. HybridX can also be installed in different kinds of slopes and undulations, as long as it is installed correctly.
